This year, we are continuing to grow our mutually beneficial relationship with Harmony Fire, our leading contractor for fire door and safety works within our schemes. Harmony has been instrumental in ensuring that our residents remain safe by upgrading doors to a higher grade of fire safety, including communal doors, residents' front doors, and some internal flat doors.

Beyond their expertise in fire safety, Harmony has demonstrated their commitment to improving social value and resident engagement. One of the highlights of this collaboration was December’s Christmas raffle, which Harmony generously funded to bring joy to residents across all 18 of our Independent Living Schemes. We’ve seen how much of an impact this initiative had in nurturing a sense of community and connection, especially at a time of year when many residents can feel isolated.

Winter in general can be a difficult time for some, but seeing the smiles and excitement as residents received their prizes, highlighted the importance of these activities.

Reflecting on this collaboration, Abbie Whitmee, Independent Living Team Manager shared:

 "Harmony has been a pleasure to work with throughout the project. As they continue to complete further works with us, Harmony is keen to continue working with us on regular social value projects that will be of great benefit to the residents who live in our scheme properties"

We are very grateful for Harmony’s support and ongoing commitment to not only delivering our fire safety plans but also the well-being of our residents throughout these planned works. Looking ahead, we are excited about future initiatives that will continue to bring value and positivity to our communities.
