The thermostat is a control device used to regulate the heating in your home and will be on a wall inside your home. You may have more than one thermostat so you can set a different temperature upstairs compared to downstairs or for specific rooms.

The setting options are below and can be found from the options within the menu settings:

  • The target temperature can be altered using the arrows to increase or decrease the temperature and adjust the length of period the heating is on for.
  • You can also have a different setting for weekdays and weekends.
  • 2 scheduling systems so the heating can run twice a day.

We recommend not turning off the thermostat to ensure your heating is always controlled correctly.

To change the batteries to the thermostat you will need to remove the device from the wall or remove the device face and replace with the correct batteries. The thermostat can be temporarily taken off the wall in order to replace the batteries, but otherwise should not be removed or moved elsewhere as this could alter the programming and the hard wiring.

Thermostat video transcript

Hello, this video is to help guide you on how to use the thermostat in your home.

Please note, that there are a few different thermostat brands, however, they all have similar settings as shown in this video. A thermostat is a control device used to regulate the heating in your home and can be found fixed to the wall inside your home. You may even have a thermostat on each floor of your property, this is so that you can set a different temperature upstairs or in specific rooms.

The setting options include the temperature target which can be altered by increasing or decreasing the temperature using the up and down arrows and the length of time the heating is on for. You will also be able to have different settings such as for week days and weekends you can usually set up to two schedules. For example, if you would like it on twice a day instead of all day to do this you'll need to open the menu on the thermostat and select schedule, and follow the options to set it to your liking.

It is recommended to put the heating on 30 minutes before you wake up to allow time for it to warm up. Please do not turn your thermostat off as this could require an operative or engineer to attend your property to fix the issue. This then could incur a recharge against yourself.

To change the batteries to the thermostat, you will need to slightly lift the bottom and pull up, it should then click off, you'll find the batteries can be replaced on the back of the device. To reattach the thermostat, you'll need to attach the top and click the bottom down into place. You may find some thermostat devices just require the face to be taken off so it doesn't need to be removed from the wall.

You can refer to the user manual if provided or found online to understand how to use the more extensive features.

Do not move or remove the thermostats in your property as this could alter the programming and the wiring.

We hope this video is useful and if you require further assistance please refer to the guidance provided in your signup pack and the instruction booklet for your system, alternatively contact us on 01296 732600.
