Bucks Green Skills Hub: Renewables Launch Event
This week, our Sustainability Team attended the Green Skills Hub Launch Event at the Buckinghamshire College Group’s venue in Aylesbury. This event provided a fantastic platform to collaborate with local businesses and various multi-trade construction companies, delving into the transformative potential of renewables and contributing to a sustainable future. We were delighted to see the new Bucks Green Skills Hub, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities. The centre has operational low-carbon equipment, offering trainees hands-on learning opportunities.
In the housing sector, enhancing the skills and training of retrofit engineers is vital for meeting decarbonisation targets. We are excited to incorporate this into our internal training programs, we anticipate that it will broaden the pool of potential apprentices and job applicants in the future.
