Introducing the Cost of Living Toolkit

We are aware of the numerous ways in which the rising cost of living continues to affect everyone in our communities. In light of this, we've been working with our Welfare Team to develop this Cost of Living Toolkit Booklet, which we hope will be of use to our residents (and many of our colleagues too!). It includes practical exercises, useful resources, and recommendations that can be applied in everyday life, such as an A3 cost-saving tracker.

The rise in inflation has meant a spike in our household bills and so we hope this useful Toolkit will help you consider options that may help you navigate the times ahead. The comprehensive resource provides information on the support we offer, people you can contact, and how to make budgeting that bit easier. With interactive features like QR codes and your very own Big Household Savings Tracker, the toolkit can be used in whichever way works for you.

Paper copies will land on your doormats this month, so keep an eye out for a letter from us. You can also try out the interactive version on our Cost of Living page.

More resources and useful information can be found on our website or on the sites listed in this Toolkit (for those of you who have access to a smartphone, scan the QR codes printed in the booklet).

We would love to hear your thoughts

Once you’ve had a read-through, we would love to hear your feedback and see your progress using the Big Household Savings Tracker. Get involved and get creative and be sure to share your stories with us on Social Media using the hashtag: #BigHouseholdSavingsTracker
