Our team can offer regular home visits providing tailored guidance, practical assistance, and connections to resources that promote well-being, security, and self-sufficiency.

Who We Support

Currently, our AHM service supports over 500 residents, with approximately200 living in the Aylesbury area and the rest spread across various village locations. Each enrolled resident benefits from monthly visits by an Additional Housing Management Advisor, ensuring they receive ongoing support suited to their individual needs.

Our team consists of nine experienced advisors covering different areas.

Services We Provide

Our Additional Housing Management service covers a broad range of essential support, including:

· Connecting Residents to Essential Support Services

We assist with everyday tasks such as reading important documents, managing bills, and helping you to avoid scams like malicious calls or uninvited doorstep sales.

· Enhancing Safety and Security

Our advisors offer personalised advice on domestic security and general safety, helping residents to feel secure in their homes.

· Referrals to our Gardening Services 

We can signpost residents to an affordable gardening service if they are looking for help maintaining the condition of their garden.

· Linking to Community Resources

To prevent social isolation, we connect residents with local volunteer groups, social activities, and community services that develop engagement and companionship.

· Applying for Financial Support and Grants

Our advisors assist residents in identifying and applying for benefits, charitable grants, and financial aid programs to help with living costs and home improvements.

·  Arranging Repairs and Home Adaptations

Advisors help residents with maintenance requests, recommend accessibility modifications, and provide guidance on downsizing if needed.

· Monitoring Rent Payments and Financial Stability

In collaboration with our Rent Advisors and Welfare Team, we provide guidance on rent payments and offer support for any housing-related financial concerns.

Changes coming soon

We have been working behind the scenes to improve how we align our various Support Services which includes a name upgrade for our Additional Housing Management Team. Rest assured, our AHM service will not be changing and our team will continue to deliver a high standard of friendly support as usual. The service name will be changed from Additional Housing Management to Intensive Housing Management and we will be sharing more about this in news posts and our Residents News magazine over the coming months.

Cost and Eligibility

There is a weekly charge for this service (£7.24) which is benefit-eligible if you apply. If you have already signed up to this service or been assessed as needing intensive housing support, your service will not change and you’ll still qualify for the support you have been receiving.
