Our 2025 Great Gardens Competition is Now Open!
Whether you’re growing vibrant flower beds, maintaining a peaceful green corner, or filling planters with homegrown produce, this is your chance to be recognised for your hard work.
Celebrating All Types of Gardens
Over the years, we’ve seen a fantastic range of entries, from cleverly designed container gardens to shared green spaces transformed by community effort. It doesn’t matter if you’re just getting into gardening or you’ve had your hands in the soil for years, we welcome entries from everyone.

How to Take Part:
To enter, just fill out the simple form on our website with your details – we’ll then be in touch to request some photos of your garden. Alternatively, you can email us a short description of your garden, let us know which category you’re entering, and include a few photos that show off your space. If you prefer to post your entry, you can send it to: Gardening Competition, Fairfax House, 69 Buckingham Street, Aylesbury, Bucks HP20 2NJ.
Deadline for entries: Sunday, 15th June 2025
What Happens Next?
Once the deadline closes, our judging panel will review all submissions and select a shortlist based on the photos and descriptions you provide, so don’t hold back on the details! Finalists will then be contacted to arrange a visit to their garden in mid-to-late July 2025. Prizes will be awarded to our standout gardens.
