This year, our Sustainability Team has been busy launching the new ‘Warm Home Improvements’ programme, dedicated to enhancing living spaces by making them warmer, more comfortable, and more sustainable for both current and future generations.

Last year, we reintroduced the Friday Night Project, a free football club for local residents in collaboration with Inspired Sport, at a new venue to engage young people in our community. The initiative offers free sessions every Friday for 11-17 year-olds, divided into younger and older groups.

Last week, five of our young residents participated in a work experience week at Blake Morgan Solicitors.

In April 2022, the Housing Ombudsman introduced a new Complaint Handling Code. As of April 2024, this code became statutory, meaning landlords must legally adhere to its requirements. All landlords must self-assess and publish their compliance with the code annually.

This annual careers event offers a welcoming and inclusive opportunity for young people and career seekers with special educational needs and disabilities or those facing barriers to entering the workforce.
