Need a helping hand with school costs, clubs or classes?

As we approach the start of a new academic year, the costs for uniforms, clubs, and classes increase. We understand that expenses for new uniforms and other activities can quickly add up with membership fees and other necessary equipment. That's where our Springboard Grants come in to help lighten the load.

Springboard Grants of up to £300 are available to support our residents with opportunities for wellbeing, education, training, or employment. These funds can be used for training, purchasing necessary equipment, or covering one-time or ongoing expenses. Last year, we assisted 26 families with grants for school uniforms, making a significant impact. The application deadline for this round is July 31st.

One of our residents shared how the Springboard Grant helped cover additional costs for their son’s football club:

"My son enrolled in an educational football academy and needed a uniform/kit that was quite expensive. We couldn't afford it all, so we applied for the Springboard Grant for assistance. It has been incredibly helpful in enabling us to purchase what was necessary for our son."
