Supporting ASB Awareness Week 2024
This week, we’ve participated in the national campaign talking about Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and sharing more about how our residents can get in touch with us to raise a report if they witness or experience ASB. ASB Awareness Week 2024, organised by Resolve, an organisation dedicated to community safety, aims to empower communities to take action while highlighting practical solutions for those affected.
The campaign unites councils, police, housing associations, charities, community groups, and sports organisations across the UK in raising awareness and sharing resources.
Spotlight on ASB Awareness and Support
Throughout the week, we’ve highlighted the valuable work our ASB Team does. ASB can range from everyday issues like noise disturbances to serious criminal activity. To help clarify, we’ve shared a short video explaining what ASB isand what happens when you report it.
We’ve been encouraged by the positive feedback from residents whose cases have been successfully resolved, highlighting the difference our team makes:
- “The Fairhive employees were really supportive. They understood my situation and empathised with what I was going through at the time.”
- “The ASB Team was thorough and really listened to me. I’m very pleased with the outcome.”
- “The issue was dealt with quickly and sensitively, which I really appreciated.”
We were in Waddesdon this week, where our ASB Case Manager had the chance to connect with residents at a community drop-in session. These sessions offer a valuable opportunity for residents to engage directly with our team, ask questions, and share their concerns.
During the session, the team provided practical advice on how to deal with common anti-social behaviour issues and explained the steps involved in reporting ASB. Also outlined, were the processes we follow to manage cases, ensuring that residents feel supported throughout every stage of the process.
The team talked with residents about the ASB initiatives we have in place, such as mediation services, our partnerships with local authorities and the police, and our community-driven prevention strategies. Residents had the opportunity to learn more about how we work together to address ASB and build safer, more inclusive communities.

If you're experiencing ASB, help is available. Visit our ASB webpage for advice on managing different types, including issues related to violence or threats.
