UK riots and violence: where to turn if you are feeling vulnerable or need support
As a Social Housing Landlord, and an organisation that celebrates diversity and inclusion, we have been appalled by the news that broke last week and retaliation riots after the tragic event in Southport.
In a statement made earlier today, the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, said these riots were “pure violence” and not protest. We have a zero tolerance when it comes to violence in our communities. If you witness any racial attacks, rioting behaviour or violence we would advise that you report it to the police immediately.
For many, these scenes can cause distress and fear. You are not alone, there are a number of support options available.
