Upcoming Inclusion Session: Discussing Neurodiversity

We’re excited to invite you to our next inclusion session, which will focus on raising awareness about Neurodiversity. Building on the positive feedback from our previous sessions on Diabetes, Dementia, and Epilepsy, we’re continuing to explore important topics that matter to our residents. These sessions provide an opportunity for open discussion and offer valuable insights from a guest speaker, to help you feel more confident in supporting yourself and others.

This upcoming session is free and open to all residents. We’ll be covering neurodivergent conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others, highlighting the challenges individuals may face and offering practical ways to provide meaningful support.

Event Details:
• Date: Thursday, 3rd April
• Time: 6pm – 7:30pm
• Location: Aylesbury (we’ll send venue details and directions when you register)

These awareness sessions were inspired by our employee Inclusion Networks, which have been running successfully for over three years. During our Residents' Forum, the idea emerged to expand these sessions to encourage broader conversations within the community. This is part of our ongoing commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). These free knowledge-sharing sessions are designed specifically for residents and are led by either residents themselves or guest speakers. Our goal is to make these sessions both informative and inspiring.

You can easily submit your interest by completing our registration form and securing your spot for this insightful session.
To ensure that everyone can attend, we offer support with transport and childcare costs if needed. Please contact us for more details.

These sessions are consistently well-attended, and we plan to continue offering them throughout the year. If there’s a specific topic you’d like to learn more about, feel free to share your suggestions by emailing the Community Engagement Team.
