Utilising our Grants Scheme

On our social media channels, we have been highlighting our grants programme during the entire month of September. Both residents and community organisations have shared insightful stories of how the allocated funding has benefited them.

Did you know that as a resident of our community, you have access to our Springboard Grants, which provide you with up to £300 to spend on activities that will boost your health & wellbeing, education, training, or job prospects?

Our residents have utilised this money to pay for gym memberships, kids' groups, and course enrollment.

One of our residents received a Springboard grant to help pay for her daughter to continue Hippotherapy.

“Cerys has benefited from Hippotherapy (physio on horseback) due to having low muscle tone and hypermobility as part of her having Down Syndrome. Riding helps her to gain strength in her core muscles and stability. It was key to her walking a few years ago. Regular riding helps to maintain her core and be able to continue to develop her physical skills. It helps with mental health and coordination too. With the current financial situation, we were looking at having to stop but the springboard grant means she will benefit for a little bit longer from a therapy that she enjoys.”

How can I apply?
